When a setback would occur during my anxiety recovery I used to think that it was the end of the world. I never took the time to recognize what may have contributed to the setback, and take the lesson from it. My anxiety is different now, I catch it before it punctures through the surface. I evaluate my emotions and practice compassion within myself.

If you’re going through setbacks create self awareness around them. Could fatigue, your diet, your health problems, your repressed emotions be contributing to it? Becoming mindful of these contributing factors will move you right back into positive momentum.

As well, be gentle on yourself during this time. You’re a beautiful human being learning, progressing, and doing the best you can with what you’re learning. Compassion must be practiced consistently.
