"There was a time in my life when I received consistent advice around the practice of affirmations for my anxiety and self development.

The only problem was it felt fake and it distanced me from who I thought I was, a warrior. My mind was attempting to believe these new ideas but my heart wouldn’t agree.

Furthermore, I attempted affirmations during times I was in emotional distress, constantly looking for that magic reaction that would take me out of my emotional state, with little to no progress.

It’s vital you use affirmations during times when your brainwaves have slowed down, and prior to beginning you get clear on the vision of who you want to become.

There will come a point when you’ll need to fully accept a new belief. Take full advantage, embrace the uncertainty, because that is truly where source energy resides."
